The Beluga A/V is a wetted ultrasonic Doppler velocity sensor for use in channels. It’s exclusively suitable for non-fouling water, such as surface water or rainwater. It sits on the bottom or side of the channel, using hydrostatic pressure to measure the flow level, the ultrasonic acoustics measure the data velocity and flow.
The Beluga can connect to an IFQ Monitor to give local signals and display. When connected to an EasyIOTMini, it can also provide periodic, automatic emails summarising data or email alarms for system health, flow events; such as high flow, high level, power loss etc.
