The Phoenix 2 is a non-contact large channel and river Flowmeter that is mounted above the flow surface, over large channels. The Phoenix 2 measures the flow velocity using Doppler radar technology. The flow rate is then calculated using the velocity and level data from an external sensor. Non-contact means, since its non-contact, there is no routine cleaning needed, no ragging, no fouling.
The Phoenix 2 can be combined with an EasyIOTMini to provide periodic, automatic emails summarising data or email alarms for system health, flow events; such as high flow, high level, power loss etc. Alternatively, it can be used in tandem with an IFQ Monitor to provide a local visual display.
