The DF 25 Steam System is a loop-powered insertion pitot tube combined with a multivariable transmitter, allowing for accurate mass-flow steam measurements with minimal cost by minimising pressure drop, saving you money in the long-term. The DF 25 Steam System measures differential pressure, absolute pressure and temperature, providing both mass-flow and volume-flow measurements. The low running costs and high accuracy keep long term costs down.
Installation requires a custom fitting, which you then drill and weld to your pipe, the pitot can then be passed through this fitting. Alternatively, the DF 25 can be provided with a flanged spool (already including our fittings), produced to custom length.
The DF 25 Steam System outputs information via a HART enabled 4-20mA signal. We can provide an FP-40 steam computer, that can locally display all your variables and trends. The steam computer has outputs, with 4-20mA outputs and pulse outputs, as well as optional MODBUS or TCP connections.
