The Raven-Eye 2 is mounted above the flow surface and measures the flow velocity using non-contact Doppler radar, this means that there is no ragging, fouling or blockages. The flow rate is calculated using the velocity and level data then, these results are displayed and can be outputted via an IFQ Monitor.

The Raven-Eye 2 can send email alarms for system health, flow events; such as high flow, high level, power loss etc. It can also provide periodic, automatic email reports summarising vital flow data. This can be accomplished by combining it with an EasyIOTMini, additionally, it can work with an IFQ Monitor to give local signals and display.

The Raven-Eye 2 is ideal for retrofitting into existing chambers without the need for civil works or flow shutdowns. It can be used for a wide range of problems, including effluent discharge, flow to works and any channel flow.
